ABSTRACT:
The night jasmine, scientifically known as Nyctanthes dome- tristis, is a well- known species in traditional drug, particularly in the Ayurvedic system of healthcare. This holds immense significance due to its rich phytochemical profile, which includes composites like flavonoids, alkaloids, glycosides, and tannins, all of which contribute to its remedial benefits. Traditionally, it has been used to treat a wide variety of affections, ranging from fever and arthritis to respiratory diseases and parasitic infections. ultramodern pharmacological exploration has begun to validate numerous of these traditional uses, uncovering its eventuality in treating habitual conditions similar as arthritis, diabetes, and indeed cancer. In addition to its medicinal parcels, night jasmine plays an important part in artistic and religious practices, especially in South Asian regions where it's used in observances and rituals. This review explores the botanical characteristics, its rich phytochemical composition, and its wide- ranging medicinal operations. likewise, it highlights the current scientific studies supporting its use in traditional drug and discusses implicit areas for farther exploration.
